Cute hair idea

Here is a neat little trick I discovered to hide a hairband for a pony tail.

1. Secure the hair in a hairband.

2. Select a small section of hair from underneath the pony tail. If your hair is layered, try and select a section of the longest part of your hair.

3. Plait (braid) the small section of hair and spray with strong hairspray to secure the end. Also, liberally spray the length of the plait.

4. Wrap the plait around the hair band. Secure each turn underneath the band with a hair pin. 

5. If you have ends of the hair that, once wound around the hair, will end up on the top, fold them over and secure underneath the pony tail with another hair pin.

6. Spray the plait with hair spray, all around the pony tail.

7. This is what the finished result will look like. I love it as it is an easy, neat way to hide a horrible hair elastic.
